Once you have tapped a document in the document library Copper launches its document viewer. Copper uses the vast amount of screen space available on your iPad to show as many useful information about your PCB as possible while keeping the interface fast and responsive.
Mode selection
Copper currently features three different modes:
You choose the current mode with the mode selection on the top left corner of the document viewer. Tap on one of the items to activate it.
Inspector
On the right side you can see the inspector. The inspector hosts quite a lot of controls and additional information and is context sensitive. Inspectors that don't make any sense in the current selected mode are disabled.
These modes are available
- Layers
- Parts and signals
- 3D scene setup
Canvas
The canvas is the area where the content is displayed. In the above screenshots it's layout and schematics.
Toolbar
Most canvases have additional features that can be triggered by tapping on buttons in the toolbar below the canvas.
